Our Digital Marketing Assistant Leah, recently returned from a Fred. Olsen mini cruise aboard Bolette – sailing from Southampton to Liverpool. This was Leah’s first experience of a Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines ship and it did not disappoint!

Day 1:

From the moment we stepped aboard, the warm smiles of the crew eased away the day's travels. Their impeccable attention to detail left a lasting impression, matched only by their unmatched friendliness and attentiveness.

During my first experience with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, I was amazed by the spacious and luxurious room that would be my home for the next few nights. My expectations were certainly exceeded.

Once I had settled into my room, I was excited to explore the rest of the Ship. I was particularly impressed by the unique designs of the various spaces on board. Among them, the Botanical room stood out as a favourite oasis where I could relax and unwind. The Ship's decor was also incredibly impressive, with each room providing a distinct atmosphere that added to the overall experience.

Time for Dinner at Bolette's specialty restaurant "Colours and Taste”, A luxury dining experience! The restaurant specializes in authentic Asian fusion dishes, all of which are beautifully presented and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a luxury dining experience while on Bolette.

We chose to end the night by experiencing some of the incredible, complimentary entertainment. During my short time on board Bolette, I relished in stage performances and comedy shows in the Neptune Lounge and Balcony. I also took some time to unwind in the sophisticated, softly lit Piano Bar and enjoying its authentic ambiance.

Day 2:

I started my day with a visit to The View, which offered stunning views and an array of mouth-watering treats. As soon as I saw the freshly made eggs benedict, I knew it would be a breakfast to remember.

After fuelling up for the day, we were fortunate enough to explore the bridge. This was an incredible opportunity to witness some behind-the-scenes action, and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

After exploring the bridge, it was time to indulge in a traditional afternoon tea. The white-glove service provided was an unforgettable experience, accompanied by the beautifully presented and delicious treats. However, it wasn't just the food that made this experience unforgettable. It was the attention to detail, impeccable service, and the sense of occasion that made it truly special.

After a busy day, dinner was served in the elegant, two story a la carte restaurant, Bloomsbury. With a menu offering such a diverse selection, it was incredibly hard to choose, but it was clear the quality of food and service was yet again impeccable.

I had an amazing experience on board Bolette. Being new to cruising, my short time on board was extremely positive, and opened my eyes to the joy of cruising. I was impressed with the attentive staff who made the whole experience smooth and memorable. I continue to praise the overall atmosphere and the incomparable attention to detail.
